Carved with a boy on the back of the bird, the animal with its head turned backward and holding a leafy stem in its mouth.

Length: 8cm long.

Provenance: Christie’s London, 18 May 2012, lot 1033.

Sold on behalf of an English private collector to an English private collector in December 2021 for £8,000.
